Custom Blended Learning
Training is an important intervention in the change cycle, whether you are introducing a new application or process, merging organizations, or building common practices across departments or across the world.
An organization is only as good as how its people perform. i3Logic creates performance based learning programs that enhance skills, reinforce change initiatives and allow learners to build their confidence so they can successfully perform.
With years of experience creating blended learning solutions for a wide variety of clients and industries, i3Logic is able to develop any type of training that is needed to help your people reach your company goals.
We have a proven track record based on the creation of hundreds of learning programs covering a wide range of subject matter from technical to leadership development. i3Logic’s programs have won awards from the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) and from industry specific organizations such as Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
Our organization has successfully merged instructional design, technology, project management, and quality processes into effective, user friendly training development. The results have allowed our clients to launch global document management applications, teach scientists a new way to operate in a new environment, and allow tellers and other users to utilize a new application successfully the day the system was turned on.
i3Logic’s custom development is rooted in the change process. These roots strengthen our offerings because we incorporate the applicable change message into the course using the language needed by our clients for implementation. We look at the goals of the change and keep that picture in mind as we develop training that builds the performance needed to meet the organizational goals.
You provide the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a description of the culture and climate your organization is operating within. We provide highly qualified instructional experts who gather content, data and real life examples in a variety of ways: interviews, focus groups, reading documentation, immersion in an application and meeting attendance to name a few. Our team then develops a content outline and instructional design for review and approval by the client.
i3Logic then creates the course materials: storyboards for a web-based course, an instructor guide for an instructor led course and, in some cases, a structured on-the-job training check list and program. Based on the audience and the performance needs we also build job aids, resource tools, or practice exercises. The determination of what is best comes from a careful assessment of the goals of the organization, the audience and the performance that is needed.
The course materials are sent to an editor before being sent to the customer; editing at this point reduces changes during final review cycles.
Once client approval is given to the course materials, i3Logic moves the products into production. The web-based courses are programmed using the storyboards and developer notes contained within them. Often, our instructional designers work closely with the multi-media development team to ensure that quality and innovation are built into the course. This collaboration between the two types of expertise results in more interactive and instructionally sound learning programs.
All of the changes that the client has approved are made and the final review and approval process begins. Instructor led courses go through a pilot with an audience that mirrors the actual group to be trained. Our instructional designer attends the class to take notes and validate timing. Web based courses go through alpha and beta reviews, so that our customers can see the programmed course and validate the content.
We are often asked how long does a training development project take and our answer is always … timing depends on the turnaround time of the review cycles.
We have made changes in over 50 SOP training courses and put them into a new course template in less than 60 days. This effort took highly coordinated teamwork between i3Logic and our client, and a strict adherence to the timelines, but it was successful. The timing was extremely important because of compliance issues and our customer’s trust in us was not misplaced.
i3Logic has the experience, expertise, and processes in place to help your organization get the results it needs and wants.
