2009 ISPI Global Conference

4.17.09 - i3Logic Presents at the 2009 ISPI Global Conference

Three executives from i3Logic and a key client representative presented at the 2009 ISPI Global Conference in Orlando, Florida.

i3Logic’s Executive Vice President of Operations, Vicky Jarosz, MCR, CPT, and Vice President of Innovative Technologies, Tom Vasko, delivered a presentation on “Engaging Your Target Audience,” which explored the challenging task of developing a new employee orientation that engaged a global audience primarily composed of Gen X and Gen Y.

This presentation delved into how to design an orientation that considers the four generations composing today’s workforce, validates the new hire’s decision to join the company, and provides the tools needed to be productive in the initial weeks on the job.

In addition, Dr. Valerie Gamble, Director of Global Drug Safety Research and Development Strategy and Operational Effectiveness for Pfizer and i3Logic’s DeeAnn Caudel, MCR, Vice President of Performance Improvement, gave a joint presentation on the real world application of human performance tools.

This presentation focused on a project that introduced a new process with a new role that required commitment from stakeholders at multiple sites and a willingness by line staff to volunteer in adding this role to their regular duties. The presentation told the story of how multiple human performance tools were employed to assist the project team in meeting critical goals.

Each of the presentations, and the conference as a whole, were well attended and the participants fully engaged. The conference provided an opportunity to learn, share, and collaborate with the experts and new practitioners.
